As well as being committed to assuring the quality of our own work, Alnpete has been providing support for quality assurance and quality management to various clients for many years.

Our consultants' experience of quality management goes back to the 1990s with quality and configuration management for the first commercial product to be successfully evaluated under the ITSEC scheme at level E6, the highest level. In 2005 Alnpete helped define a quality management system (QMS) for a security testing laboratory that resulted in their successful certification by UKAS to ISO/IEC 17025, an essential pre-requisite of their status as a Common Criteria Evaluation Facility (CLEF) and a CCT Mark Scheme Test Laboratory; we have been developing, managing and operating the QMS for them ever since, enabling them to painlessly achieve re-certification every year. For other clients we have been providing quality assurance for both consultancy and product development.

Alnpete has been employed by other consultants to perform the all-important quality assurance tasks that are essential for them to deliver a consistently good service to their clients. Some of them acknowledge (privately!) that they don't have any completer finishers on their team - which is a potentially disastrous shortcoming if quality is important [and quality is, of course, always important]. Our consultants, on the other hand, are renowned for their attention to detail, although they can distinguish between being a meticulous professional and a nit-picking pedant!
